SORTED!!! After a few weeks of rining round hunting lots of email addresses etc i finally got hold of the helmet! It looks the nuts!!! Its a bit more orange than expecting but still its an amazingly light and comfortable lid and love every time i have to put it on my barnet! lol Will post pics up soon as ive also got a tinted race visor and a few tear offs! lol Yes i know the tear offs are essential for road riding but hey they look cool! lol

Welcome along to the forum and welcome back to Yamaha! I can sympathise with the bad mileage per tank as my R6 likes a drink or 3, but the bike is amazing. Cant wait to see a pic or two if your bike too!!!

Lol, you'll have to make it up to everyone next time! lol As for the engine asked my mate last night and he wasnt really sure what else would fit although he didnt see any reason why a fazer or R6 lump wouldnt fit. The problem was i think i caught him off guard as i dont think he had heard of anyone doing the swap! You still not been able to source a thundercat lump?? Matt

I am no expert on 2 stokes unfortunately, however it sounds like its due to the fueling as ive heard of similar probs being linking with the carb, it might be worth looking at the carb set up see if its running lean as if it was that might explain the lack of power. Also check all the usuals like air filter and fuel lines. Any body with a better 2 stroke knowledge about?!?!?

Ah cool cool, i didnt know what the difference in the tests were, although i had her people saying that the snell helmets were not tested to the same standards! Well its a shame either way as i cant get the haga replica as ive got no change of getting it apparently! grrrr............... lol

lol, fair play...........perv........!!! lol I am not sure on the technical side of life but will double check with a mate i know who knows a lot about yams and will see if a fazer or R6 lump fits i swear it must do but will find out for you!

i love the look of the racefit one and i bet that sounds absolutely amazing. As for the backfiring and burrbling............................................................try akrapovic race can + bp ultimate super unleaded stuff = flaming!! lol Was out the other night on the way home and it was rather late so was dark, looked over my shouler and saw a nice blue flame shooting out the can and to add to that it does it almost everytime it pops! lol. That'll scare the drivers if they want to get up my arse! lol

Just E-Mailed them to see if they were uk spec helmets or snell and they are uk spec, but they said there is no chance of getting the new haga rep! Not sure why but nevermind....................back to teh drawing board!!!

See that worries me about the side cover thing as its not the first time ive heard of them doing sky diving impressions mid ride! lol. As for the rubber bit thats one i havent heard of before! I will check out the sharks and see what ones are about! I know there is nothing wrong with the KBC but i cant wait to get it off as all i can hear when im riding is wind noise and its not going to be long before i throw it out of a plane to then really let it have some wind noise! lol.

Hi all, i am thinking about getting the new Haga rep as i think its an awesome colour scheme and as i do a lot of mile on the bike i want to know my head is as well protected as i can get and even though £500 is a steep price to pay safety is my main concern. Just wanted to know if anyone has got an Arai Corsair and their thoughts on it or words of advices regarding Arai's in general. Are they noisey?? My KBC Vr2 legend is quite noisey and it bugs me a bit! And if anybody has got any other helmets they strongly recommend please say! Cherers.

I used to have an AGV and it was a lovely fit and quite a quiet helmet, just switched over to a KBC VR2 legend as i got a good deal on it with the R6 and its really noisey! I am going to get rid of that for a Arai Corsair Haga 41 rep! £500 but after trying my dads Edwards rep on it was so comfortable i cant resist! Nice bike by the way and a nice helmet to match!!
