hi all,noisy erratic speedometer on 125 virago xvs changed speedo cable and ran speedo with drill knackered is speedo a sealed unit as ive taken it off but cant get get to the mechanism inside it .have seen simalar 535 speedos on ebay but no 125 speedos will these work do you know.cheers tony

hi,the speedometer on my 125 virago is erratic and making a noise louder than the engine (not hard) and drawing attention everywhere i go i,m new to biking but not sure what problem is i assumed dodgy speedo but have been told it could be speedo drive/or speedo cable which i disconnected and this seems to rotate ok just by spinning the wheel is the speedo drive hard to change for a novice also had the speedometer off but seems to be a sealed unit.any help appreciated.
