Thanks for that reply. So roughly 20mpg less, 20mph more than the 125. And hopefully £20 more on the insurance! That would do me. How did you rate the Hyosung?

I did a lot of searching and found even though The Bike Insurer claimed they had the cheapest quotes for various companies, both Motorcycle News and Tesco quoted cheaper. I went with MCE for £160 TPF&T including breakdown and legal. The bike is chained to a concreted in ground anchor and has a cover. It is right next to a lamp post, but a ground anchor means the chain is not trailing along the pavement and is harder to get at to cut. I did have an issue with MCE in that it took 5 emails and 2 weeks to get the documents through.

I ride a lot at night, but apart from one small section only on lit roads. What is the best bulb only upgrade? I do not feel up to tackling adding extra lighting.

Me and my new bike and its parking spot I passed the CBT in November and then delayed because of the snow and got the bike a few weeks ago. It is 4 years old and I am the 5th owner and it has been well looked after.
