it's the sensation of speed i'd say pete. i've had my bro in laws fz750 at clock indicated 130mph and then took my rd out, got it up to 70/80 and it feels faster!! same buzz but alot slower/safer. that's the key, people need to realise there's a big fun factor to be had on non sports bikes at half the speed, twice the comfort, half the cost, safer to your license and safer for yourself/others!!

you know something darren, that's the smartest thing you've said yet 8) getting these guys to atleast do a cbt after a long break would be a great idea. there is refresher courses available but most dont bother :roll:

all yamaha strokers are/were giant killers 8) i reckon my rd400 could take a z1 from the light you know..... :twisted: just thinking about that, i'd really like to find that out for sure. it would be interesting to see atleast

be a bit of a handfull!! quite a few of my mates race karts, they are loads of fun but i've always prefered 2 wheels 8) we built one with a 125 crosser engine years ago, very rough and crude but it worked and flew. we welded a long bar to shape with a handle to the gear shifter so that you could knock it up/down gears by hand and then just put the clutch lever on the handle. it worked....kind of
