The fuzz show some sympathy
As for motoring I dont think I have met a decent copper. In one drunken night out I have met a decent cooper before. I take it that the only reason for any points was the fact you were speeding? did they mention anything about the undertaking? I always wonder about undertaking on a motorway as often in a car I will simply sit in the inside lane at a consisten speed rather than cross three lanes or sit flashing behind the lane hoggers.

Thanks for the comments. As for top price what do you think that would be? I was planning to go and look at the bike this weekend even though I would not be able to ride it. Fortunatly one of my drivers was delivering in the Swindon area today and was able to go and look and take it out for a ride for me. The comments were that it is a good clean bike with no other marks than you would expect from the age and mileage. Well maintained etc. Think I am going to go for it that way I will have the incentive to pass

Very impressed with this short clip. I'll show him when i pass my test I dread to think how many bones must get broken in learning stunts like that.

Ok I will see whats happening closer to the time. I am thinking of clocking up some serious mileage over that weekend so you are not really too far. Just have to see a bit closer to the time. Thanks.

Xt125/TTr125
From the limited information I have found : Because it is a 4 stroke 125 the standard power is about as much as you are going to get. However i have also read that the exhaust may have a restrictor at the maniflod end. Other than that I cant help as the accounts have only been theory based. I would love to be able to get a bit more from the bike but in traffic around town I dont really find it slow. It only when you get out onto the national limit road the power (lack of) becomes apparent. I would guess that unless you are going off road and need the gearing as is then a larger from / smaller rear sprocket should do the trick. Although I have no ideas on how many more / less teath you would need and what the effect on the engine / top speed would be.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...p;rd=1&rd=1 Views please. I am happy that it is from a dealer. The security I am not sure on the mileage. Would this be considered normal or high? Not all MOT and most of Service? Would you be concerend by this? Other than the fact it will mean a lower purchase price and a lower sale price pending that I can keep it shiny side up Thanks *EDIT* Just called the dealer going to call back in a couple of days and they will dig all the paperwork out for me. Also if anyone is in the Swindon area and could have a look round and a test ride for me. I am looking at comind down on sunday to have a look round it.

Easter bank Holiday Ideas
If all comes together I will have the full licence and bike before this weekend. As its a nice 4 day break I am thinking of having a good ride out. I am not getting my hopes up as it would be easy to make a stupid mistake on test day and not be able to get a re- test in time for the weekend. However where can I go? What to do? Are there any shows on that weekend or just some good roads and routes the more experienced biker knows. It doesnt have to just be the UK. It could be over the water. (mainland europe) Thanks in advance.

What first 'proper' bike???
Just seems to be the way of the world. Everyone wants to charge more but nobody likes giving discounts if they can get away with it.

Something for us blokes...
This will be doing the rounds tomorrow. Just hope the works filter doesnt block it.
