hey, i managed to do the same thing. i found that bump-starting it worked though and i'm not even sure how. i think that's just how easy to half inch my bike is

good afternoon, thanks again for the help with the "dt 50 mx breakdown". Although after getting it going again the same thing happened but this time I cleaned the carb drained the fuel tank, checked the filters, checked the barrel for any crap and just generally gave it a thorough rountine maintenance job, now it will start but as soon as it fires up, it dies again. I managed to get it going for ten mins or so and the same thing happened, then it was back to starting and instantly dieing again. any suggestions would be a great help because after the ammount of money i keep throwing at it i am seriously considering leaving it on the train tracks, cheers, Jack. by the way, i wouldn't actually leave on the tracks, that way it would be on the news and i would have to look at the damn thing agin, so i might just set fire to it.

hi everyone, this is an urgent ask for help. on my way to college for a test i broke down, managed to start it and it then conked out again about a mile down. It sounded like it was running low on fuel but a have half a tank. it's now in my garage after a much needed recovery before my hands iced over and the compression, fuel, oil and spark are all fine. i thought it might by carb-icing but i have warmed it up and still nothing. would much appreciate a reply asap, thanks, Jack.

thanks i have been meaning to join for a while now. um, yeah it does but i don't think it's due an oil change, i had an engine rebuild around august and it was filled up then so it should be okay.

hey, i'm currently replacing the little end bearing on my yamaha dt50mx but i'm not too sure on how to out the new gudgeon pin clips back in?

i have a yamaha dt50mx 5 speed and when i'm comming to stop i'm going down the gears but ocasionally it will stick in neutral and i can't get down to first without going back up into second and knocking it down again. any ideas on the causes?
