  1. If the plug is black then I would say it's running to rich so you need to adjust the fuel flow through the carb.
  2. We all thought you were a classy bird Bippo but the thought of you hanging onto the hand dryer in the bogs has us wondering !!!!

Keansey, When you really think about it that's not a bad price, if they have to remove the rear wheel and the tyre then fix the puncture plus supply the filter and oil and dispose of the old oil and stuff then it's going to be at least a couple of hours work and they usually charge about £40 an hour so I would say that it's pretty good value. Just my opinion really but I would do the oil and filter change myself and get them to do the puncture.

Hi YB, Welcome to the YOC, it's normal to do an "INTRO" before posting that way we get to know you, so if you would be kind enough to post a bit about yourself in the "new members" section you might get a bit more feedback cos we get a LOT of one hit wonders who want a question answered and without a "thank you" they are never seen or heard from again. As I say welcome to the forum and hope you get to stick around.

  10. Tommy, Just bought a new set of plugs for the Suzuki plus HT caps at £54 fitted them and found the last lot I had bought when I went to find the socket to fit them. FFS!!!!! SWMBO was NOT impressed plus they don't fit the Yams so now I have a complete set with no bike. (BUGGER)
  11. Yes as above, it's about the journey not how far you can go in a day, if you really have to hammer it then fine but you will miss so much if your only looking at the road cos your doing warp factor 10. Plus your bike will not thank you for ragging the shit out of it for a week. This is supposed to be a "HOLIDAY" not a race.
  12. That looks lovely Giorgio, sorry to hear that you binned it but as long as you get to walk away from a crash it's not all bad. I really like the colours on your bike, very neat, Take care and welcome back.

  15. SO what your saying Andrew is that he has to give his bike a "blow job" to get the fluid through is that right? Fuck that for a game of soldiers if it needs sucking then it can go on the scrap heap!!!!! :biglaugha:

Squirt some oil down the barrels before you turn it over and leave it to soak for a few hours or you might damage the bores, just saying !!
