  1. Hi, The clutch is dragging a bit. This makes it hard to shift to neutral when the bike is running. Adjust the clutch cable a bit tighter at the lever perch and see if it helps. Make sure there is enough oil in the crankcase as low oil can make the clutch drag as well. As far as speed goes they are not the fastest things on the planet. Check to see if the previous owner changed out the rear sprocket to a larger size. Many times people do this to achieve lower gearing for trail riding. I believe 45 teeth was stock on the rear.
  2. Look for a bolt on the side of the cylinder. I'm not sure for that year, the older bikes had a banjo bolt which was a bolt with a hollow center and two holes on the sides . This bolt went through a circular end fitting on the oil line and the whole thing screwed to the side of the cylinder. There were fiber washers on either side of the circular fitting to prevent leaks. Good luck. Opinyun
  3. Hi Dave Use any good grade 2 stroke oil and mix it 32:1. Check to see if the oil line from the pump to the side of the cylinder is blocked off. Also check to see if the oil pump cable from the throttle is connected. You need to take off the oil pump cover to see this.Three screws no big deal. If everything looks like it is hooked up then put some 2 stroke oil in the tank, back out the pump bleed screw (small screw on the facing side of the pump)and let the oil dribble out a bit until the air is purged. Start the bike with the 32:1 mix and check to see if the pump is turning. If it is remove the line to the cylinder and start it again to see if it is pumping a steady stream of oil. If not try bleeding it again. If you get tired of all of this then just run it on the premix. Good luck Opinyun
