Found this forum while trying to figure out why my YammaGamma is smoking. Well that seems to be fixed but it wouldnt start this morning and dripped a little fuel. Will look at that tonite. Done 400km since getting it together and passing French moto test(arrrg). Its a rocket ship above 7k usually starts 3rd kick cold. 86YPVS from Italy cheap. A bit loud with those Figaroli pipes and Stan's stage 2. Its been like a video game getting this far, get stuck, look online(cheats) fix the problem, next!!! And some of the problems delt with so far: -wouldnt idle: carb slides were in backwards(duh) -Clutch wouldnt disengage: removed and freed plates -Exhaust spitting oil at flange: put in viton seals -Clutch slipping at 7k+: New plates + 3 springs + box oil -Excesive smoke: adjusted oil pump

I too have fresh rebuild YPVS on Stan's stage 2. Its got 400miles and really screams, gone up to 8000rpm. But its a bit smokey. Am measuring oil/fuel consumption and its at 5% = 20:1. Will double check the cable adjustment but I figure it should be 30:1 = 3%??? And now Im worrying about this small end risk... What to do?
