where there any major changes from 1996 xv1100 to the 1997 model? Especially engine mounting - am looking to put 1997 replacement engine into 1996 frame - any pitfalls - also how to register with replacement, change V5 - suspension and wheels as original. Thanks.

Can anyone tell me if there were any major changes from the 1996 to 1997 virago xv1100 range - thinking of fitting a 97 engine into a 96 frame - any pitfalls? If possible,how do I change registration with DVLA? ... Thanks.
