  1. Bit of a late reply I know, but I might be able to help, as I have a FZR400 RR SP EXUP Try jap4performance to find some different fairings, I think there might be some conversions on there but I'm not sure. Do your lights have red rings around them? If so then its an EXUP. The numbering is the specific model, which seems unimportant but when you're looking for parts you'll have to make sure you know it or they won't fit. The last few letters of your VIN number is the model. Different models are likely to have different wheels, like I said you really have to know what model yours is. And the Deltabox is the Aluminium frame Hope thats helpful.

You should be able to get one on Ebay if you search hard enough...I've just had to replace the downpipes on my FZR400 EXUP and there's a lot of stuff on there

I've just got through my bike test, and was in a similar situation, although because I'm 18 I could only do my restricted license. I had a TZR125 which I rode the wheels off, but you still need training. I did 2 lessons for Mod 1, make sure they let you practise at the actual centre so you know what you're doing. And I had another 2 lessons for Mod 2...mainly just getting used to all the stupid little things you have to do to get your test passed. You won't need as many lessons as people starting out riding, but you still need to be shown what the examiners are looking for. Good luck
  4. As soon as I turned 17 I bought a 1994 TZR125 RR Belgrada, which was absolutely amazing fun...I don't see any point in spending like £3k on a brand new bike, which probably won't be as fast as the good old strokers...and definately won't be as good looking! I think its best to start on a old bike which you can learn on, then anything you ride afterwards will seem so simple!
