  1. OK so my SR has started to play up on me I can sit in neutral and rev the nuts off the thing no problem whatsoever... however.. riding it is a different story, the bike is bunny hopping once i reach a certain revs in each gear. Fuel is reaching the carb Have drained some fuel to check for "Crap", seems all clear New spark plug Cleaned carb , no blocked jets etc , floats seem to be working well (needle isnt stuck etc) Cleaned air filter I'm stuck anyone got any suggestions?
  2. Mine does that, but not in second, more like 3rd, kinda between 30 and 40 mph. I've messed with the carb, changed he plug for an iridium, nothing seems to do it.. might try a change of sprockets soon
  3. There should be two bolts on either side of the seat at the rear , look underneath you should be able to see them.. 10mm if i remember, you will have to get a spanner behind and a spanner on the front for removal
  4. I had the same problem with my '99. Stripped the carb , took the jets out, checked all the orings.. put it all back together after a good clean..... Tightened the pilot screw till LIGHTLY seated, then unscrewed 1 and a half turns. Set the idle mixture right once bike was running. Checked the air filter hoses and MANIFOLD to the head for leaks (these can be temp fixed with electrical tape quite nicely) Re-lubricated the throttle cable cleaned the plug and checked the gap just to be sure (0.6-0.7mm) Could be worth you changing the throttle needle seating position (theres notches in the needle which seat on a circlip right at the top of the carb)
