Hi all Im looking to get rid of the curved risers on my Bulldog, want a shorter straight set. Cheapest aftermarket ones I can find are from Germany and cost 100 quid. So, does anyone know if the risers off other Yams are a straight swap? Im thinking Fazers, XJRs maybe? All advice greatly appreciated Cheers Adam

Hi Folks Not a Yamaha owner at the moment but am thinking about getting a Bulldog. It seems to get mixed reviews but I like the idea of a big V Twin in a bike that can handle and stop. Its a cool looking bike too, but I other than that I dont know much about it - so thought I might find some advice on this site! So, couple of questions for you: Whats it like to own? Reliable? Easy to do basic servicing at home? Does it handle/stop well? (Bearing in mind Im a bit of a noob - passed my test 6 months ago. So Im not, nor never will be, a 'knee-down-ninja'!) My one concern is the lack of power - 60HP seems a bit crap for such a big engine - how much can it be tuned? Will new cans, a K&N and a Dynojetting get a bit more out of it? Actually that was more than a couple of questions but I once I started I couldnt stop! All advice gladly received Thanks Adam
