I always watch MotoGP when it's on (If I can help it).......especially like the Japanese round(s).......the Japanese riders always seem to elevate their game in what seems to be a sense of honor in front of their home crowd :wink: Nakano & Tamada were brilliant yesterday 8) Nice to see Kawasaki's hard work paying off :wink:

.....former Yamaha pilot Shinya Nakano, for his podium finish yesterday aboard the Kwak, in front of his home crowd 8) I guess it's been decades since Kawasaki has seen a podium finish in the GP's :shock: I really like the exhaust note of this machine......typical Kwak Screamer 8)

.....I finally got a new rear tire.......especially when the old one was 75% used up when I bought it for only $20, last November! :shock: but I gotta say this new Dunlop GT501 is thee tire for the Maxim 8) ......gives excellent feedback & a well planted feel :tu Now I just need to get the matching front tire to go with it :wink:

The Ol' phrase: They don't make 'em like they used to comes to mind.......which I'm reasonably sure you can relate to :wink: That could be the very reason why I've been razzed so much by my wife & others, accusing me of being stuck in the 80's :roll: ......but Hey, What can I say?.....I ride a 21 yr. old goes, I don't ride it that much (Need 2 ride it more :oops: )......but it's quality & finish speak for itself :wink: I guess the bottom line is that you have a rather unique Yamaha (blemishes & all) that you love to ride......so maybe you just need to not sweat the cosmetic issues & remind yourself the Real reasons you still have your XT.......IMO the best way to do that is to RIDE ON my friend 8)
