Rossi back on 4 wheels.......
....Briefly on his break from testing. Valentino Rossi was finally able to take a break from motorcycles on his return home from an intense Yamaha test at Sepang this weekend. The Italian was back in his native country to take part in the Monza Rally, driving a Toyota Corolla with co-driver Carlo Cassina. Also competing were Rossi’s father Graziano, who had Gauloises Fortuna Yamaha Team Director Davide Brivio as his co-driver, and a host of other VIP riders including Dindo Capello, the 2000 winner of the Le Mans 24 hours and former AC Milan footballer Daniele Massaro.

Good Mechanic Joke....
Found this Courtesy of RDeesa ..... Even my wife (being a Nurse) gotta kick out of it. A mechanic was removing a cylinder head from the motor of a motorcycle when he spotted a well known heart surgeon in his shop. The surgeon was there waiting for the service manager to come take a look at his bike. The mechanic shouted across the garage, "Hey Doc, can I ask you a question?" The surgeon, a bit surprised, walked over to the mechanic working on the motorcycle. The mechanic straightened up, wiped his hands on a rag and asked, "So, Doc, look at this engine. I open its heart, take valves out, fix'em, put 'em back in and when I finish, it works just like new. So how come I get such a small salary and you get the really big bucks, when you and I are doing basically the same work?" The surgeon paused, smiled and leaned over and whispered to the mechanic .. "Try doing it with the engine running!"

Very Similar to over here.....Should have indicators on for any testing to be done,....but don't necessarily have to keep them on after that......it is illegal to ride @ night without 'em though. All the Old School Harley boys do it all the time. 8)

YICS system XJ 750
:hi to the Forum Header. You'll definitely need that YICS shut-off tool......I've been dealing with this scenario for years, as I too ride older XJ's  I've been told that Yamaha doesn't make that tool anymore :? ....& if you can find one, they'll be a bit spendy. I've been fortunate to have a friend who lives close by, who has one......So that's how I've been keeping my carbs balanced. The best of luck with locating one.
