The drain plug should be under the center of the motor directly behind the oil filter housing in the lower front of the crankcase......if memory serves me correctly, it should be a 19mm Hex-head bolt. HTH

Me being a Bleedin' Yank, I don't know how much help I can be with sources in your area ........BUT, I am a true advocate for the XJ series ... ...Rode this 550 for over 13 years.....Daily..... & have been Daily flogging my 750 Maxim for the last 4+ years ...... There's all sorts of aftermarket goodies out there for these Old Nails......& the maintenance on XJ's doesn't get much easier.

I like going to see Vintage MX racing during the winter months.........where I usually see some really well looked after Jawa's ........& they go like stink too!

An FZ done in the Bumble-Bee paint scheme would look quite Cool! ....IMHO The only thing better would be that same paint scheme done a proper Yam Stroker!

Check to see if your oil level is too high.........it'll then overflow out of the airbox & onto the rear wheel! .......Learned this one the Hard Way.
