Me & the Beast before the Stealth paint scheme .....

Just to ammuse Pete & his need to Razz us BleedinYanks whenever he get's the chance. Because of my new job & the astronomical fuel costs I've occurred in the last 3 weeks.......700-800 miles per week! I've taken refuge in a 24ft. Travel Trailer that I aquired for a real bargain....$1800 So now that my fuel bill has been cut in half......the money I save pays for half the rent on the Trailer space. & It's close enough that I can ride home for LUNCH everyday! So, needless to say.........I've officially become Trailer Trash .........fortunately, only during the week. What can I say?......Sh*t Happens! Can't wait to sell my house & move somewhere where there's some breathing room.....(Central Oregon) It may be an old Trailer......but it beats the hell outta residing in a TENT! .....like I was here last week.......

Trace the wires from the main fuse....as it sounds like you've got a direct short (improper earthing) somewhere in that circuit?

'Bout the only diff I can come up with.......is that the J is an '82 model (like mine )....& the K was from '83.......the only 2 years the 550 was produced. Hope you like it as much as I like mine? Tend to agree there Andy I recall watching a video of one of the past TT's........always love watching the on-board footage! Anyway, this vid had some on board footage & commentary from Mike The Bike's TZ750 that he was running that particular year.......remember him saying from under helmet whilst doing 140+mph......that one hasn't really Road Raced until they've raced the IOM.

Those old CB550's are pretty cool......my brother had one....he loved it! I cross paths with a guy on one here in Bend as I commute to my new job everyday......Clean exhaust note it has. No Feelin' like 2-Wheelin' .....eh, mate?

....For Nori Haga as he claimed (2) 2nd place finishes while mixing it up with Bayliss in BOTH races @ Silverstone this last weekend ...... The 1st 6-8 laps of race 2 were superb with Chris Walker in that mix as well......going 3 abreast into a few of those bends! And Hats Off to this chap for cinching Pole position @ his 1st WSB event as a Wildcard entry .....

If it wasn't such a big jump across the pond......I'd be there!
