A good friend of mine (The guy who got me into RD's 8) ) also used to race an FZ600 for a stint......I pitted for him & we went as far to remove the electric starter for a fair amount of (Noticable)weight savings 8) Really all we had to do to the bike was Number plates & safety wire :wink: Like I said on the Original Thread, they're an absolute pleasure to work on, & are well up to the chore of some Thrashin' on the Track :tu

  5. This thing seems like more of a tractor.....Whereas the V-Max oozes with Muscle 8) .......It'd be interesting to see a drag race between the 2 :wink: I Do like the chassis & the brakes though 8)

Satriani literally taught Steve Via how to play :wink: .....along with Kurt Hammet from Metallica 8) ....saw a vid once with an Interview of Satch......he was quoted as saying that What Inspired him most, to become the guitar player that he is today, was back in 1969 the day Hendrix died.......He went to school, told his football coach "I Quit", picked up his guitar & never looked back 8) Killer Drummer roster there 8) ......but IMO it isn't complete without Neil Peart though :wink:

Now I can't play any instrument to save my life! :oops: .....But I've always been a HUGE fan of people who have Mastered playing the Guitar or the Drums. So, as the title says......this is My Fav Musician.......Hands Down 8) I've seen Satchmo 3 times in concert........the 1st time was Thee Absolute best show I've ever seen 8) I own 7 of his CD's @ the present, & I've got to say that listening to Joe Satriani :hail Here....have a look & a listen for yourselves :wink: ...... http://www.satriani.com

    .....I had some extra cash to do some biddng on Ebay with...... Just found these gems which I've always had a thing for :wink: ....... 1st) A very clean FZR400 @ a current bid of $1500 :shock: ...... 2nd) I'd love to replace my Old Nail Maxim with this, also for a current bid of $1500 8) ....... 3rd) How cool would it be to have this Beast on the street? 8) Oh Well, guess I'll just have to keep saving up :wink:

Interesting Subject this........I also, have been toying with the idea of a Big Thump for Real World use 8) .........& coincidently, I've came across a couple of XT's lately, on the way home from work.......they seem quite capable of daily riding chores through any kind of weather conditions 8) I was checking out a big XR last night........they seem to be more of an Off roader.....too tall & possibly top heavy :? ......& Outside of their Bulletproof reputation 8) ....there IS that GAY thing you can't get away from!

    A good friend of mine (Bonafied FORD Freak :roll: )......has 1 0f only 14 (in the states) Police Interceptor's form the Mad Max films.......complete in black with the "Fake" Blower stickin' outta the hood 8) .......he has the only one on the West coast.........Cool Car!.....actually an Australian Falcon w/ right-side drive.......definitely gets some looks over here.....especially by the law :twisted: I'll have to see if I can dig up some links to pics of that ride :wink:

  19. Me & my little lad had another go with it again yesterday....... Seems to be getting easier to get it to fire off after sitting for a week :wink: ......I must be getting the starting ritual down alot better 8) Sorta like a bike........the more it sits....the harder it is to start :wink:

    I've encountered that chatter before also.......I think it's just that weird ratio span between 1st & 2nd gear's........sounds like you're going just the right speed.....a bit too slow for 2nd & a bit too fast for 1st Just my 2cents worth :wink:
