Half bike, half indy car
Not necessarily a new concept, but I DO like the Red ones! Definitely would turn some heads if you pulled up to a traffic light with one of those powered by an R1 or a VMax

Yamaha XZ 550 clutch
The steel drive plates might be the same......but I'm not sure about the basket......splined hole in the center could be a different pattern ....assuming that the clutch dimensions are the same. Seems a reasonable alternative, but you'd have to compare parts to be sure

Lest We Forget!
Mucho Respect for the rider who truly pioneered the Hang Off style of riding & was an Inspiration to King Kenny who brought that style to the forefront of Road Racing, as we know it today. RIP Jarno

Killer Day in France
Yeah......I think he had a little score to settle with Nicky, when he made that pass by him, into the 1st chicane for the holeshot H*nda definitely gave him a raw deal when they handed the Repsol pilot position to Hayden .....especially after Colin had won TWO WSB titles for 'em Oh Well....What goes around, comes around.

Yamaha oil-types?
I've had the best luck with Castrol 10w40 over the years.......run it in everything I've got.....even my lawn-mower I've also ran 20w50 Castrol in the summer months.......which works really well for those clunky gearbox issues. I'm sure Pete will tell you that Silkolene is the way to go.......can't argue too much with that as it is pretty good oil.........but for the money, Castrol does the job for me........I used to be dilagent about running "YamaLube" in my bikes, until I found out that their properties are the same as Castrol.....for twice the money! I guess it really boils down to Personal Preference

its my birthday
Not too bad for a 50! Used to have an early DT125......got it up to 75 with stock gearing I miss that little beast sometimes

SRX400...It's alive, but...
Could be an issue with the clutch switch, as far as the neutral thing is concerned. Definitely should go over it with a multi-meter.....maybe while it's running.....to see what the voltages are @ the battery......a bad regulator/rectifier could be the guilty culprit. Having a good manual or @ least a wiring diagram in this instance, makes life alot easier. I've been going through a very similar scenario lately with my XT......so I Can Relate to your dilema. Best of Luck with it
