81 maxxim 550
Sounds like you definitely could use a Carb Synch! Although, this'll require a YICS shut-off tool to do it correctly You also might have a look @ the pick-up coils located on the left end of the crank. Make sure they're clean as they send the initial signal to the primary coils. Best of Luck with it-- BTW..... to the forum

barn find, what's it worth?
Gotta agree with Yoda here....... 1 thing to watch out for with the 11's though.....is 2nd gear tends to wear uncommonly quick Although, you probably won't see too much wear on it yet with only 105.7 miles BTW...... to the forum

will rossi win world title this year
If Rossi wins the title this year.....4 sure, it'll be a well-earned crown Gotta agree though....Stoner has really stepped-up his game this year on the Duc Nice to see the Hopper get on the podium & into the mix as well.....that guy can really hang off a bike, he needs sliders on his elbows! I just wish Edwards could find a bit of that winning Rossi magic .....need more Yamaha's on the box!

Engine knocking
to the forum Dirkster Forgive my ignorance, but is the YP a 2-stroke or 4? .....No matter, sounds like you might have roasted a rod bearing ....probably due to low oil levels. Have you sourced the point of leakage?.......gasket somewhere?
