removing tyres (urgent plz :))
If you don't have proper tyre irons.......you can use the rounded handle end of a couple of Cresent wrenches (Adjustable spanner).......be sure to be generous with the WD-40 when re-installing the new tube....as to minimize the pinching of it :wink: Tyre Irons are worth every bit of what they cost :wink:

Why so few Shaft Drives?
Only shaftie I've ever owned is my Old Nail XJ750 :wink: ......they Do have their advantages......Virtually NO maintenance & mess 8) But I Do miss Lightweight Linear Feel & gear change options of having a chain :wink:

Better break out the JB Weld there Jon :shock: & maybe start scouring the local breakers for another sidecase This is a Chain-Driven Bikers' worst nightmare!........happened to me once, but I was oh soooo lucky as my chain just spit straight out the back........felt like I missed a shift, when I went for another gear--then I realized that something was missing here :!: The best of luck with it Jon :wink:

Truth Be Known.........I was spoon-fed on Honda's :oops: .....but all my friends always rode Yamaha's 8) ......so I had a go on an old friend's YZ once, & I was hooked :wink: .......been riding Yamaha's Everyday on the road, for almost 20 years now.......won't have it any other way :wink: ......as the Tattoo on my left arm depicts 8) ......

As they appear to be "in the hunt" in the World Endurance series...... They also are doing well in the AMA SuperStock class over here....as evident of one Jamie Hacking podium 8) , this last race @ Infineon?...aka (Sears Point) Raceway. Jamie is the current AMA SuperSport champ aboard an R6....& is also an interesting character to listen to in an interview....he's originally from the U when he was 9yrs. old.....so needless to say, he has an interesting accent :wink:

It is for some both used to work that way :wink: On the other hand.....my current XJ750 has a different circuit, where the lights come on with the ignition switch :dunno
