Bud Ekins is an old man with a cane now ......but he's had quite a career in the bike industry.....Racer, Collector, Historian & long time riding partner to McQueen.....Both of them used to race Triumphs in the Desert 8) I think Bud was with Steve during his last days.....riding bikes down in Mexico before Steve died from cancer :cry:

I've wanted to do that for years now! There's only 1 reason I even look @ one of their mags........to read anything written by Kevin Cameron 8) .......the guy's a wizard with bikes.......I ALWAYS learn something new after reading his column :wink: PsychoWorld has far too many adverts to justify the news-stand price! :evil: I prefer Motorcyclist TBH........Well written & Informative......plus they now have Kenny Roberts writing a monthly column :tu

Man, What I'd give to go on holiday with my bike! 8) If I can get the right bike under me next year, I think I might go visit my brother in Conneticut on the East Coast........about 3000 miles away :shock: ......It'd be a Helluvan Adventure 8)

I've got 3 elderly ladies that live around me.....So I'M the Noisey Neighbor :twisted: ........even though I bump start my bike every morning as I leave the house @ 4:30am :roll: ......I still have the reputation for breaking out the RD every once in awhile, & Waking the Dead with it! 8) But I'm NOT the only neighbor with noisey habits........a guy around the corner from me, likes to warm up his YZ400F 8) every weekend before he takes it out for a bit of MXing

Without the risk of sounding prejudice :shock: .......I can't say I can ever recall seeing a Black guy ride like this guy can 8) :wink: ........ James "Bubba" Stewart @ most outdoor circuits, is every bit as fast on his KX125, as Ricky Carmicheal is on his CR250 :shock: I got to see him race last year @ the Washougal National.....his lap times were right in there with RC's :wink: He'll be moving up to the 250 class next year.....hope he signs with Yamaha 8)

I always thought V-Strom was a bit on the weird side :? ..... But I guess that comes with the territory when it says SuSucky :roll: on the petrol tank
