  1. Glad to be of service mates .......Any fan of RUSH is ok in my book  & Axl.....interesting you mention AC/DC in the same sentence..... I recall having 4th row tickets to see RUSH & AC/DC together, back in the late 70's.......but then 2 weeks before the show, Bon Scott died! .....so the show got cancelled  That woulda been 1 Helluva show 8)

  5. Interesting notes regarding that RoadStar Warrior...... 1) Only cruiser with a full Aluminum frame 8) 2) Last years NHRA Pro-Street Cruiser class Champion :tu 3) 1st Yamaha (I think) to have a Belt drive :? 4) R1 derived fork & front brakes 8) Last year when the Hardley V-Rod came out, Cycle World did a full Cruiser shoot-out article with the V-Rod up against all 4 metric Cruisers......& for the 1st time in the history of that Mag......Hardley actually won in all aspects  .....but the only bike that could come close & that actually handles Better than all the cruisers tested, was the.........RoadStar Warrior 8) I've thrown a leg over one before in the showroom of a local dealer.......Gotta say: Damn Comfortable Bike! 8)
  6. Here's another one of the band back in the Early Days....... Appearantly Geddy Lee is a Die-Hard with his Mullet......as evident of this more recent pic....... I've seen these guys 3 different times in concert & I gotta say that they make ALOT of quality noise for just 3 guys :tu Check it out for yourselves......http://www.rush.com

Now I really don't have anything against Pete's James Dean hairdoo  But, for me, the mullet thing started about 25 years ago when I 1st heard RUSH on the radio.....been a fan ever since. Here's one of "The Professor" back in the day...... & this is what he looks like today  ...... Gotta hand it to Neil Peart.......after 30 years, he's still twirlin' the sticks 8) I've listened to these guys for over 25 years, & have yet to get tired of 'em 8) .......but listening doesn't even scratch the surface, compared to seeing 'em LIVE.....Peart is a Phenominal Drummer & lyricist :tu He's also an avid Motorcyclist 8) .......rides a Beemer......& a couple of years ago, he did a 55,000 mile tour of North America  , trying to find some purpose in life after his wife & daughter were killed  ....appearantly it worked as he has since wrote a book & Rush is now doing a 30 yr. Anniversary tour

  11. I used to own one!....a '77 model.......IMO....Yamaha's version of the Brit Twin  Also the bike responsible for getting Kenny Roberts' Flat-Track career off the ground 8) Killer Mid-range....great for street use.........But TBH, the vibes @ speed are enough to rattle your teeth out! I think If Yamaha relaunched this bike, they should put a counter-balancer shaft in it....like my old XS400R Seca 8)
  12. What happens when you have: 1) nothing to do 2) a sharp knife 3) a large lime 4) a patient cat 5) too much tequila :drunk 6) and it's (Yank)football season? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
  13. Don't get me going there Alex........I can't stand the EPA* ......those are the same bastards that charge us more money to test our vehicles, that already have the life choked outta them from the factory  .......I'm the type that they'd really like to bust.......I De-Smog all my rides  & love operating 2-strokes whenever I get the chance 8) *= Enviromental Protection Agency

  24. YamaHead replied to Chelvin's topic in The Bar
That's because most Tin-Box Jockies don't have a clue what it's like to deal with traffic on 2-wheels
  25. If I was going to buy a Yamaha Cruiser, this would be the BadBoy that I'd buy 8) ...... Although, I think the 1st thing I'd do to it, would be to lose that Bazooka-Sized exhaust can
