I need an expert. ive got a yzf 750 with a miss fire.Runs okay for a bit them misses when warm. Ive changed plugs, coils, plug caps, air filter and rubbers, fuel tap diaphram, exup valve. I have ultrasonicly cleaned the carbs. The only part of the ignition system I have not changed is the pickup coil and the ecu but I cant keep throwing money at it. I have stripped and checked the loom and all seems okay. Just to rub salt in the wounds I have also put a new battery, chain and sprockets and downpipes on it too. I dont know what to try next, can someone please help before it gets broken for parts. cheers alan

Hi guys ive got a 1995 yzf 750 r ive got the usual missfire question but ive tried just about everything. Was missfiring up about 9k but when it gets hot im loosng a cylinder all together. Ive had the carbs off and cleaned them fitted new carb rubbers, new plugs , new ht leads and swaped coils with some that came with the bike but i dont know if these were any good. The exhaust was swapped as well because ther was a hole and the second hand one i got came with an exup valve and it moves freely. Just about to buy a new set of plugs just incase i have a bad one the i was thinking new coils. any ideas????????????? on another note does anyone know where i can buy original tank decals or vinyl sheeting to replace the originals that got knackered when the tank was lying on its side and petrlo leaked on to them . I dont want to have to spend loads the bikes not worth it. thanks alan

Hi guys Im a newbe to yamaha but ive bought a 1995 yzf 750 r, according to the previous owner it has r1 gold spot calipers . It needs front discs and I dont know if the ones fitted are r1 items or if I can replace them with standard 750 discs, also the bolts holding the discs on are normal allen head bolts and not pan head, is this right? Been looking at black shadow wavy discs, anyone tried these before. thanks Alan
