I've cureently got a little yamaha sr125 need abit of help. thinking of putting drag bars on it with "brush guards" like what off road bikes have to cover their levers n hands. Anyone got any advice to offer Also was wondering how to possibly De-restrict it get abit more speed from the sod HELPPPPP!!!!

only ever had a problem with my SR125 once.............ignition barrel for water in and it froze but a lighter to the key and popped it in and away i went but starts up everytime no matter how nice/bad the weather is!

Cheers guys. The SR is currently being abit crap..........running rather crap if im totally honest oil got into the air filter last week cleaned it all out and it ran on till a few days later then the engine has started to sound abit diffrent. don't know if its because i've been doing alot of milage over 200+ miles a week on it or its just getting on abit in its age. still want another exhaust!!... Going to De-restrict the bike soon as im off upto matlock in a few weeks and im sick of doing 50mph behind my friend on a Yamaha 535 Virago and my other friend on a Kawasaki ZXR750 H1 (1988) 21 years old! Hopefully i will get a decent 70mph out of it. currently looking at purchasing the YBR 125cc. Anyone got any insite into the bike of what i could possibly do? all comments welcome..... cheers Ste

New to the yamaha club but an old owner lol I currently have a Yamaha SR125 2000 model Two yamaha DT50MX 88 and 92 models the 92 model is a project bike owned since i was 12 runs well just needs a few bits doing to it. I had a yamaha EW50 Slider. (crashed in 2007) uploading pictures soon. but currently looking for a diffrent exhaust for the SR as the original is abit crap. cheers for reading ste
