    CT1 Fork travel short and long?

    I have two 1970 CT1 Yamaha's. One has a fork with the inner tube that measures 7 inches from the bottom of the under bracket to the dust cover. The other bike inner tube measures 8.5 inches from the bottom of the under bracket to the dust cover. Does anyone know what model bike this longer travel fork could be from? And is it actually 1.5 inches more travel. Could it be from a AT1mx? What different travel forks did they make for those CT1's. Thanks ahead of time. Bob

    Hi, I am new to the club. I have been looking through the forums and can't believe the amount of help you all are willing to give. I just purchased a 1970 CT1 175 Yamaha. I owned one back in the 70's and just loved that bike. I am looking forward to tearing it down and rebuilding it. I can't wait to start. Can anyone help me with access to a shop manual? I would be a great help. Bob
