For reader info..... dealer looked at bike the problem was the that the R1 has two throttle stages,the first stage had fuel residue in the carbs,...sorted now.

Are you fitting a full system or a end can?

Just bought my 3rd R1 yesterday its a 05 R1, may have to book it into the dealers as when i pull away the engine pinks for a few seconds then it launches perfectly it has 1700 miles on the clock.. Anyone else had this problem??
