well done mate, i just passed my mod2 a week ago , easy as you like , its all common sense(wot you`ve bin taught ) , you just gotta relax and put everything together for it , you`ll be fine mate just keep a cool head

hi all just passed my test a week ago and have mot`d taxed and insured my new1990 fj1200, done about 600 miles on her so far and she goes a dream , there is a noisy clutch on tick over though , cold or hot there is a noise from the clutch until you pick the revs up above a thou , she had a new clutch fitted by a good mechanic about 1800 miles ago, is there any way to rid myself of this noise befor i start moding her or is it something i should just put up with, any input much appreciated , will be buying an xjr1300 to go next to her in the winter so any going for grabs at end of year please let me know keepsafe and happy dusty

i have an 86 xj700 maxim , i`m taking the engine out to replace all seals and plate (she runs lovely so won`t mess with her to much), whilst i`m doing that i will fit another engine so she don`t hav to be off road . a friend of mine has an xj900 pre diversion engine he said i can have , i have been told these go straight into my frame hmmmmm , i`m not 100% sure about this so does anyone out there know ? keep safe dusty

hi goff thank you for the wellcome , i have an xj700 maxim and am looking at dropping a 900 lump in her . would you where i might find some information to cross check wot is compatable with her frame . sincerely dusty

hi rob is she softail with bolt on back end or ? i`m looking for a place to cross reference engine numbers as i think she`s got a 750 lump in her , any ideas where i should look dusty
