Cheers, seen that one, looks a nice bike. Trouble is Im right down south and most are too far away, I dont mind traveling for the right bike though as have a van and guess its always possible to get a company to transport it. I really like the import one on there with the sports/cafe style seat, think it ends tonight but its Yorkshire way..

Hi guys, I have the opportunity to buy a 1971 XS2, its a US import, needs restoring and not registered but fairly complete but needs a seat and a footrest. Where can I get parts from if I wasw to buy it, been looking quickly on google but not much joy at the moment. It has a spare tank and spare engine also but otherwise I dont know much else, just had a brief phone call with the owner. Any help with what to look for would be much appreciated as Im going to look at it tomorrow at 11. Do I bite his hand off or am I going to end up with a bike I cant get parts for? Thanks Doug.

Thanks for that, the 'tatty' needs a bit of TLC but is complete is the sort of thing Im looking for though Im not shy of having to restore something from boxes if needs be. Wheres the best place to look for one? The 650Bs are lovely bikes but think I do have to set sights lower at the moment. Guess Iv just got to find something now..
