    hi no sorry i can not seeinto the carbs from were the filter is as it is blocked off when you pull the choke out everything seems ok visualy

    Hi can anyone please help i have 1990 xj600 roadster only bought the bike recently so i dont know the bikes history the bike didnt have a air filter and the filter housing was broke so i got new ones now its very difficult to start the bike and it seems to lack power best way to start it is to remove the seat and cover the airintake completely with ma hand then it seems to start ok but it rouns really rough untill running new plug made no difference it seems to run ok once heated although when pulling away if you give it too much throttle it seems to hesitate any advice is well apretiated cheers

    hi bud corby just outside kettering ok ajusters on both end traditional on the hand lever and 2 nuts either side the bracket lower end am sorry can you explain again for me? am stupid lol ive got the cable on but am sure its not ajusted correct as its dificult engaging neutral now

  9. Hi i checked today the Grey feed from the ignition unit is ok there is no breakage in the wire and there is 12v suply to the tachometer ok here is a question will the tachometer from the newer models fit inside the pre diversion model? many thanks

    Hi i have a 1990 xj600 its a cracking bike am tidying it up i have a good knowlage of bike mechanics could anyone help me trace the problem with the rev counter its dead many thanks
