Just done a bit in the Gallery forum about my bike, so wont bore you here. Live in London (hate the place) but from Kent originally Married no mortgage(rent) and no kids Work as a Security guard Haven't owned many bikes, tended to keep them for a long time. Love travelling on the bike and fishing and darts. Laters........

I have an XJR 1300 that I've owned since September 2004. It had 1400 miles on the clock when I got it. It is an '02 registered machine. I done 9000 miles in the first year, but now I've made up for lost time. Here's a pic before I done some work on it. Please remember this bike is used all year round as I don't own a car. ...and this is the magic moment which occurred on the road towards Millau in France. I have now personally done over 100,000 miles on it. This bike is awesome and I will never get rid of it. During the time I've had her, it has had, Personalised number plate Top and bottom engine gasket 1 rocker gasket A new set of Hagon rear shocks one new battery(2 weeks ago) an extra clutch spring 2 headlight bulbs 5 rear light bulbs one new air filter 6 new oil filters one set front fork seals and oil a new headlight shell a chain lasts me about 23,000 miles tyres last about 12,000 rear and 8,000 front(021's) I've had the seat recovered once but need it doing again The front forks, grab rail, all the foot levers and rests and hangers, head light holder, and swingarm have been Aerocoated. It has Predator FP1 cans, Motad black chrome s/s downpipes and a Delkivic s/s collector box. I replaced the brake lines and clutch line over 3 years ago. It's had 3 shims replaced and the carbs have been balanced twice. God knows how many pairs of front brake pads. It was knocked over by a cabbie 3 years ago and it had almost £2000 worth of damage done to it which was sorted on the insurance. It burns a bit of oil, but basically speaking, it just keeps going. Why would I need another bike? This one has taken me to the Pyranees 3 times in 3 years, one of them when I went to Malaga in Spain to visit some friends and done 3,143 miles in 10 days. Loads of times into France and it's been to Hamburg and Berlin in the last 2 years and will be taking me to Italy next year and Germany again. What a bike! I'm going now because I might start boring you.
