Just my thaughts !!! If your heart set on getting a DT125 LC then thats sound,,,,,,might be a good investment. If you want the strongest DT ( my opinion only ) get the DT125 R from 98 to 03,,,,,it has the power valve and is a good strong bike that will last long time if ya mind it a bit. The choice is yours,,,,,,,,,Hope This Helps :D

Get some Brigestone BT 45's or Bt 16's,,,,,,,,,which ever takes your fancy,,,,,,,there reasonable enough !

It gets worse after a while ! Once she gets a bit confident she will start moving arround ---looking in shop windows and the like-----upsetting your ballance

Well my aul fella had a bike when we were kids,,,,,,loved them from the first time he sat me up on the tank and went for a spin. As for still liking the bikes,,,,,,,,dam its a hard one,,,,,i dont really know,,,,i just know i'd never give it up,,,,,and the same reasons as you have just said.

You are actually right Jim,,,,,old-school says,,,,engine oil for lubing a chain. Both my manuals say the same,, engine oil is the best for getting INTO the inside of the chain whereas modern stickey stuff lube does stick to the chain really well BUT only to the outside of the chain. So what I do is a bit of both,,,,,engine oil when I have the pacience and chain lube after that. That we gem i gave ya is handy for lubing chain,,,,,,,,saves chasing the bike arround the driveway if ya dont have a centre-stand.

I'd be with Cynic on this one. Any popping, banging, backfireing, flames meanes that unburnt fuel is making its way through to the pipe without being burnt propperly.
