  1. I know I am really late on this post, but it definitely sounds like the needle and seat on your carb for the bogged down feeling when you crank it wide open. How did you make out with the bike thus far? I am currently rebuilding one. So far engine looks in great shape and just rebuilt the carbs. However bike is in pieces as we speak. eek. Ted
  2. Shit, I wish my bike looked as good as yours. lol. Still in early stages of cafe racer conversion. I am sure I will be back for help later.

    I have the same bike and have done alot of research on parts websites like babbits and bikebandit. Your best bet is to compare the frame in the diagrammed photos. However my answer would be no. The only compatible frames that use the same engine is the 1973 TX500 and 74 TX500A.
