Hi I have got the same problem as you had. . . I have just bought an R6 not realising I needed a red key and only being supplied with one black key. How did you sort your problem out?? Did you get a chipped ecu from track electronics?? Your help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheers Richie

Can any one please help!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone know of a locksmith who can 'clone' a yamaha R6 transponder key (i haven t got a red one). It will have to be in the UK as I am too scared to post the key in case I lose it and have a massive bill from Yamaha. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I posted yesterday and had some advise but this related to the non transponder type. Cheers

Hi I wonder if anyone can help. I have just bought an 03 R6 without doing my homework and now realised I should have 3 keys. Unfortunately I have only one black one. Is it possible to clone these keys as there is a guy on e-bay who claims that he can supply a red and a black key for £ 120 or a cloned black key for £ 50. He does need either the key reader (moric) or a black key. This is a bit worrying as he is in Poland. I am assuming if he can 'clone' the keys there should be someone in the uk. Does anyone know if this is possible???
