Yamaha V-Star 650 Custom 2011 & Custom Handlebar query
not that specific one, but here's what i did... when i first bought the handlebars, it looked very wide. But once installed, i find it looks good, and the ride is very comfortable (i used raisers also...). Mirrors also changed...but don't have a picture of the bike with the new ones.. Peter

tank logo
Hello everyone, another question from sunny belgium... I was thinking of getting my drag star painted (matt black). Now i saw a few examples of cars being wrapped, and as i understood it also possible for bikes (i thought fuel tank would be a problem because of the tight curves) Now my question...the label on the side of the fuel tank..how do i get it off? Is it glued somehow, or attached with screw or other means? So will there be a hole when i take it off? thanks Peter

rear fender + light
Hello all, again looking for some advice.... I'm planning to shorten the rear fender of my dragstar. Is there a good way to cut it, without having to repaint? Or maybe a nice way of finishing? Also, i'm looking for a taillight/brake light that fits under the fender, something like this: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10224848/wallpaper33_1024.jpg Anyone knows what kind of light this is? thanks Peter

650 Dragstar - just too darn quiet!!
cheapest option is to drill a few holes in the backplate. I drilled 2 9mm holes in each exhaust, and the sound is a lot better. In the beginning i had the idea someone was driving behind me Peter

Cast/Mag wheel fitting
thanks for the info. Good that i didn't buy the "tire repair kit" last week.... i can see myself trying to fix a flat with a tubeless repair kit, not knowing there's a tube inside lol.

Cast/Mag wheel fitting
hello guy's, this post made me wonder....i have spoke wheels on my dragstar. Does that mean there is a tube in the tire? Can you have tubeless on spoke wheels? thx Peter

advise on exhaust mod drag star
Spacehunter, thanks for the reply. I drilled 2 holes in both exhausts, and yes, sounds a lot better I also drove to the POLO shop yesterday, and the end pieces are for a different exhaust then the drag star stock..small error on the website, because i searched for drag star specific items, and got these... so for now i'm happy with the drilled exhaust. If i find the money for it, maybe try the vance & haynes..... thanks Peter
