on my 85 xj700 the tci ignitor has two sets of wire clips one with like 7 or 8 wires to it and one that has a clip for 4 wires but only three wires are used.if your looking at the tci unit the way im looking at it the 4 prong side is on my left 7 or 8 prong on right.the way mine is the top left prong has no wire,top right wire is black,bottom left wire is red or orange then bottom right is grey is this right?the reason i ask is only the coil that sparks 1&4 cylinder fires but the coil that sparks 2&3 has no spark,but has fire to the coil,checked it out with new coil so im thinking my tci wires maybe wernt placed righ when i had wiring problem because ran fine on all cylinders till i replaced bad wires
