    All Fixed Turns out i had a faulty battery and a blocked carb. all fixed now
  2. you have the wrong rollers for the speed you want. you need to get heavier ones to get top speed. light rollers = acceleration heavy rollers = top speed. you need to get different rollers or an exaust gasket with a smaller hole. you will need to change the clutch springs if your using anything otherthan your stock rollers.

    You can get soundsystems on mopeds. they are referd to as "Sound Boards". i currently have 2 aerox's (one for my self, the other to refurb and sell and both have sound systems on them. i didnt overly bother with exact fits etc but like you i needed a roughguide so what i done was actually took the "bucket" from under the seat, surned it upside down and drew round it. worked pretty well. either that, Click Here for adrenaline ped stop. it only cost £97 and they are by far better than anything you can make for the same money.. and they fit like a glove. just my advice. but believe me, the second one is better than making your own.

    Hey. ive got a 2003 yamaha YQ50 aerox. its worked fine and had new reed valves and piston rings about 5 months ago. i recently installed neons on the moped. they have a switch to turn them on and off on the negative wire leading to the batery. the other day i left my full beam lights on all night (although with engine off and no keys in ignition) and came out to a flat battery. it started on the kick so i took it out for a blast to give the battery a good charge. after driving for about 20 mins to the shop, the electric start still didnt work, it moved the starter motor but not fast enough to fire. how ever it did start on the kick. i got home to drop the shopping off. was indoors for about 5 mins. i came back out and still no electric start (again started with kick first time). i went to pul off and i got about a meter and the bike died. all power went (but the break lights and indicators still worked [as they normally would with the ignition on but enging off]) i pulled onto a drive way, got off the bike and put it on the stand. again the electric start had power, but not enough joice to start. but once again first time on the kick. i reved it again and it died. tried for a third time and same result. i took it to my drive and left it for a good 10 mins on idle and it was fine, as soon as i reved it it died. ive been told it could be a dirty carb and jets by a more mechanically minded neighour. i however am 16 and dont really knwo what this. i know what a carb and jets are and what they do, just not exactly where or how to get them out. so firstly any ideas of what the problem is? and and step by step guides to removing the carb? Thanks alot (this is my first post, lets make it a good one!!)
