top bloke yes it has swelled above the cylinder head like you say, today i checked base gasket(while i was there)and removed head and checked gasket seems flat although never trust a pattern jobby they normally warp, my guess is your right and thank you for your support, when you say change the gasket for o rings do you meen without putting another original in? would'nt they melt when temp gets high? or even move with pressure? thank you in advance you've been a great help

hello to all i am left hanging with a fault that is a bit strange basically my bike is overheating,there is coolant coming out of the overflow and the pipes are expanding as if there is a blockage or the prepeller isnt working or thermostat as of yet i have ripped out the coolant system(radiator,all pipe and also checked the water prepeller on gearbox, i do not have a thermostat fitted either the bike on revs idles strangly eg 1-3 thousand rpm up and down unsteadily the bike will ride normally for around 20 mins then overheat and fluid comes out every gap it can find any suggestions i would be grateful for,thank you in advance

have you checked gearbox oil level is correct? also could be bottom end bearings or main crank bearings ;-)
