Jog RR Engine, No power
My moped doesn't seem to have any power and i'm not sure why, it runs and idles fine, but then after a short few seconds when pulling away, it sounds like it's trying to go, but can't. After taking it apart, I found this part, and not sure what it is, and whether there is supposed to be anything connected to the end. It goes to another part, then the pipe down into the exhaust with nothing else going into it? (Click to enlarge) Also, the local bike shop told me to take the carb apart, and I have a picture of the carb: (Click to enlarge) How to take it apart? is there any special information / things I shouldn't do? Many Thanks, Steven gibbons

Moped steering bent
Ok, thanks guys. I have taken all the fairing off the front of the bike, and found that the part at the end of the long tube (at the bottom) that attatches to both forks is actually bent, at the bottom. Does anyone know what this part is called... or how it comes? Anyone happen to have a parts list for the CS50Z 2008? Many thanks.

Moped steering bent
Thanks, that's not what i'm worried about at the moment, it was a mate and has agreed to pay the whole cost... it's just they reckon if it's the forks, it will be about £600 to fix?...

Moped steering bent
Okay, so someone hit my moped in the carpark at work the other day, while the steering lock was applied. They seem to have bent the steering, but the bike workshop won't even open the bike up for less than £100, to see the extent. They also said if the frame is bent, it could be a write off... is this true? Thanks!

Derestriction Guide
Does anyone have a copy of the derestriction guide, ideally for a yamaha jog rr, preferable the 2008 model, but otherwise one that would give me a general idea? That would be great thanks

Yamaha Aerox 50cc running troubles PLEASE HELP!!
Did you re jet the carb when you fitted the sports exhaust? Also, have you changed the variator? I hear a polini one is best, as it gives the best gearing for top speed & acceleration?

Unknown Aerox Problem
I'm not an expert on bikes, but could give you my opinion! I think that it may be the spark plug possibly, and it's just coincidence that its when you installed lights onto your bike. I had this problem, and had to take the spark plug out and clean it (Yamaha Jog RR). Sometimes the bike would ride fine, and sometimes it would stall, and hesitate about moving when normally riding along, and had problems starting the bike. The other problem could be the alternator is not charging the bike properly, either due to a dodgy alternator, or the battery could be dead, as it is potentially 6 years old, and if it was flattened fully, this could damage it, however I can't see why it would. Have you also tried the bike without the neons copnnected up to the battery?

Aerox acceleration
I took the washer out the variator on my moped, it will hit higher speeds but the acceleration has dropped, so i'm not sure what you could do, although i've heard if you get a new variator it should help. I'm thinking about getting the Leo vince ZX, but you will also have to do the rollers, and the clutch springs that come with it for full power. Out of interest, what else have you had done? I'm trying to fully de restrict my Jog RR, and not sure where to start.

How not to clean a bike
That is truly awful, especially as he has admit that it was his own fault, and people still have the decency to rip him. Poor guy.

Jog RR Derestriction
Hello, I have a Yamaha Jog RR and now I have turned 17, wanted to look into derestriction. I understand I will need to get a new performance exhaust, and take the washer out the variator but is there anything else I will need to do (except jet, clutch springs and rollers)? Many Thanks
