Why do yall put pipes on your plastic bikes?
Guys....don't keep sending reported posts to the Mods! If it's spam, something illegal or hardcore porn etc....fine! But if it's some spermguzzling cocksucker like this troll just tell him to fuck off and get his rectum stretched at the HD dealership or something. Or use him as cannon fodder to practice new insults. This is YamahaClub....you're Yamaha riders....a forum for bikers....not choirboys! Now fight your corner......or bend over and buy a Honda! Now watch and learn from my next post!

Exit the XT.....Enter the TDM!
No price cutting from new....and the Spanish mentality. Cars are the same. If I replated the TDM to Spanish I could sell it for double what I paid.

advice for new rider in damp cold weather
After a dry period the roads will be very slippery....so take care then. In the wet you need to allow greater distances for stopping and be very careful near roundabouts where there could be diesel spillage. Riding in the wet needs a different approach to the dry. Slow down, gentle brake applications, slower on bends, better observation. It's not new skills.....it's enhancing existing ones to compensate for the conditions. Take it easy and build up your confidence and skills through continual practice.

motorcycle crash statistics
You're looking too deep. People die in cars everyday but you never hear potential car drivers going through this scenario. I'm 53, I've ridden 36 years, owned 55 bikes, never broken a bone, and never trashed a bike. And there's plenty of others like me out there. Why? Cos we didn't behave like twats or hang round with twats. And the actual number of totally non-fault motorcycle accidents is very small....the vast majority of accidents (to varying degrees) are down to the rider. That's not speculation....it's fact, and the cops on bikes in the UK will tell you the same thing.

Exit the XT.....Enter the TDM!
Some of you will remember my little XT350.....well it's gone now! Last month it went back to the UK for good....sold to a friend in South Wales. And this week, it's replacement arrived! It's a 98 TDM 850, genuine 8000 miles. Full service history.....in fact I don't think I've ever seen such a full service history in a book. The guy put it in for full main dealer services irrespective of the fact he wasn't using it.....so it's been serviced according to time rather than miles. Serviced at 679/3881/4847/5374/5975/8301.....so it's had 6 oilchanges in 8K miles! Rides very nicely indeed....perfect for further exploration of rural Spain! And if you're wondering why I ship them over from the UK, it's because used prices here are ridiculous. I could have bought two of these in Britain for what I would have paid for one in Spain. Plus the ones here have much higher mileages, and to find one with a service history is virtually impossible. So....what do you think of it?

Why do yall put pipes on your plastic bikes?
Actually Eddy did really let rip at the troll but a member complained about the content of the post so we deleted it. So Eddy did fight our corner (for once).....so now he's probably expecting to be made a Mod!
