We went on sunday ... it was a brillant day out ... bit bloomin cold on the way down ...but a great ride there none the less. Posted up in the wrong thread for the ride there like a complete newby hahaha ... Sorry we missed you ... The bikes were amazing ... so much to see ... but I think we managed to see most things ... the food on site was bloo*dy expensive though ... stopped at Jn16 M6 at the Little Chef for some food on the way home .... By the time we got within 20 miles of home, it was dark, wet and cold .... winters on its way :( Be safe, Shakey

Meeting a couple of mates at the Tickled Trout petrol station just off M6 Jn31 in the morning ... 9.30 departure ... if anyone fancies it ... look for a blue and white GSX1400 (I'll be wearing me famous pink leathers) and a grey BMW K1100 .... taking the GSX as the XJ is needing a rear tyre

Yep, same up this end of the rock too mate ... I was at Rivington Barn near Bolton, Lancs on Sunday ... there were a few young lads on mopeds / scooters riding in t shirts, cheap lids and no gloves .... so I thought I would offer some friendly advise .... only to be sneered at .... they thought it was funny ... You just cant help some folk!!!! Bet they would be crying for their Mummys if they did have a spill..... I still bear the scar from my one and only off .... full gear every time, no exeptions!!!

Hi all .... I'm new here ... but not to bikes ... been around since the 70's but just bought my first Yamaha!!! Its an old XJ900F. It needs a bit of TLC, but, HEY! I'm on the case wiv it, so if anyone has any bits, give me a shout..... cos it needs a few bits!!!!! lol Last bike was a Suzuki GSX1400, but had loads over the years .... On all the other forums I use, everyone knows me as shakey, but you must already have one .... so here I'm shakey666 ... Anyway, wots the custom here in the bar? Do I get the beers in or what? OK .... what you all having????
