...hi All am i really going to have to take off my front header pipe to get my oil filter in/out? Or am i intellectualy challenged and perhaps missing a more obvious solution? MC

you may be looking at a V-star 1100 wheel as the US calls the Dragstar 1100. they came with a alloy option. same sizes as the spoke wheels...but couldnt put my hand on the bible about it fitting a 650...cant see why not though. may have to do some brake mods. 650 only has 1 disc if i'm not mistaken?

my 2003 XVS1100 struggles to swing over hot or cold and sometimes the motor even 'stalls' the starter-motor. battery reads 13.3VDC standing and 14.2VDC at idle. Is it true that these bikes 'strip' or break their starters as a model problem? welcome any suggestions and advice... thx Miguel
