    assistance with 1979 frame numbers

    Hawghunter posted a post in a topic in Dual Sport, Offroad Bikes
    I have a 1979 frame from a Yamaha. It has a frame number of 2J2-021010 with a date of 1979. I believe the frame is from a 500, but not sure. Thought looking up a frame number would be easy, but can not find any assistance. Does anyone know where to find this information on a vintage Yamaha frame?
