yamaha learner bike
Its the 4 stroke version late Y reg, so very low mileage. Guess it helps if it is stored for 3 years of its life :-)

Mechanical Help
I was thinking of drilling new holes and moving it closer toi the wheel as there is enough room to do that. Cheers for the help though. Just the other bits to sort now. Anywhere cheap to get the parts?

Mechanical Help
The bike is spot on apart from these bits. The garage is a very well known and good one. The front mudguard is hitting the exhaust and i mentioned this to them, as on a pot hole it could through me off. I assume the shocks are compressing too much due to the loss of oil or the mudguard is not standard. Just needed to know price wise really if this is ok?

Mechanical Help
How hard is it to change the oil seals on a rs125? Took my bike for the mot today and i need these replacing. I also need a new rear light cover, low beam bulb, and the front mud guard needs adjusting as it hits the exhaust. All of this work is coming in at around 110 +vat including parts. Does this sound right, the labour is coming to £70. Any suggestions welcome.

Nottingham regular meet?
I'm looking to see if there is a regular meet in the nottingham area. I always see a mass amount of bikes out on a sunday but not sure how to meet up with them. Im also interested to know if anyone with a 125 bothers with the meets or not? Is it worth it in terms of being able to keep up, surely you end up riding by yourself. Anyone involved or interested would be good to hear from you,

I used to go a long time ago in my car when the drag racing was there. Im looking for people to ride out with in that area, im from radcliffe. But i only have a 125 so keeping up may be a problem.

Introducing myself
Ok so your saying its best just to replace with service items from yamaha. Would it be worth using the air filter if i fitted a new jet? It just seemed to make such a difference on my other bike. The other thing ive heard is that in the exhaust engine side there is something that can be removed is this correct? Is this de-restricting it? Thanks for your help

Introducing myself
I have just found that replacing the standard box with one of these generally makes performance smoother? It says the bike may not need rejetting? I fitted a k&n to my sachs and it made a huge difference. I was looking at the larger piston as someone else advised me this was a good modification. And in regards to the oil filter again i thought an aftermarket one like this would be better for performance. Open to any suggestions but i was just looking at tweaking the bike slightly, not for speed performance but for smoothness etc.
