    Identifying Year by Engine Serial Number

    retiredswabby posted a post in a topic in Yamaha Workshop
    i recently purchased a 1984 Venture Royale. The 1200 engine has been replaced by a 1300. I am trying to identify the year by the engine serial number 41V-oo2042. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
