I been usin a Scotoiler on my GSXR11 for 18yrs now,i fitted mine to the front sprocket too,but not on top of the chain, fitted it to the top quarter of the front sprocket and it works a dream, just fit it so it rubs on the side of the front sprocket and gravity will do the rest!,no ugly bits on swing arm nice an discreet, bottle is mounted to the top fairing just by the screeen so it easy to fill and adjust.you be fine to use your bike without one but i can`t recomend them highly enough, sure they pricey, but long term they wort it,and you can keep it if you buy another bike!

Ah well they say yer no a real biker till you felt the pain!,SO HAVE FUN,ENJOY,and WELCOME!,you bound to find some laughs around here!
  12. Unfortunately ryan, the only way to adjust handling is to ride it,setting up a static bike and expecting it to perform is a tough one!,don`t get carried away by thinking bigger is better on a small bike or any bike!(TZR i`m guessing?)bigger forks(more weight)wider wheels can be harder to turn,it is a mine field of head scratching to get right.if you have the patience to read,i would recomend you go buy a chassis set up manual.THE RACING MOTOR CYCLE,a technical guide for constructors.by john bradley.superb info, and a chassis guide for life!.it is expensive but well printed and robust,i would recomend it to anyone who is half serrious about learning why bike`s work the way they do,and how to make them work with you!.
  13. Anybody tried or know of a good cleaner for helping dissolve clean rust/muck out of old fuel tank prior to sealing?
