hi you lot. i lost the front sprocket the otrher day,, on opening the crank casing a large brass ring fell out,am i right in thinking it lives behind the spocket up against the bearing seal,,as i think this is a spacer,it has a groove around the outer edge,,ta kev

why i have your attention ,there is a big slim brass washer with a groove around the edge that fell out of the crank casing on opening,,corect me iff im wrong (not often) but does it fit behind the sprocket up against the bearing seal, as it looks like a spacer to me.

i stopped on a motor way once to give a helping hand to a stranded metro with two old dears in.when i took my helmet off ,they locked all the doors and threatend to call the police iff i didn't go away:unsure: i think it was the balaclava that startled them ,on reflection.
