YOUR LAZY. You couldn't put together a four piece jigsaw even IF you had the picture. (Battery terminal - need I say more?) Nice KH there. Lovely to see someone who can fettle their bikes instead of just wringing their necks. ATB J

I told my wife to rub toilet paper in her cleavage. "Will this make my boobs bigger?" she asked. I replied "Well it worked with your arse. " ATB J

I also you a garden sprayer. Quicker and handier than a hose pipe and you can add wax shampoo. To degrease and get the worse off I use stuff called PRO CLEAN. Its far better than Gunk or Jizer (which is very slippy when wet ) and, if you miss a bit or want to go over a stubborn bit again you can do. Could we have that in English ? I did promise I wouldn't post that you cant wear a tie and belt at the same time because you look like a string of sausages - I may have to go back on that promise. ATB J

You could do with carrying one of these round with your because you talk that much shit! (I bet you get us in the bad books again with the mods. I tell you. I come on here with a Handy Hint and all I get is abuse. Luvurly! ) They call UP_YOURS Spiderman at home. Its not because he has super human power - its because he struggles getting out of the bath ! 'Mock Ye May' but Ive just found an idea long handle, nylon bristled brush which is idea for cleaning those inaccessible parts of your bike and car. Its long nylon bristles can get in between the cylinder fins, exhausts and into parts other brushes cant reach. Oh - ere! I bet its useful for under the wheel arches etc on the car. The long handle saves the olde back! What is this fantastic device and cost? A bog brush. Only 49 pence from my local JYSK shop (but Im sure there is other cheap suppliers) Have you any penny pinching hot tips? ATB J

  13. Please dont! My mate had both his feet amputated and he died of a Heroin addiction. He couldn't kick the habit. ATB Ian
  14. Seems quite apt ! ATB J
  15. I dont have any experience with this particular model but I have come across this problem before with older British bike. 'Joseph Lucas - the god of darkness'. Perhaps as a safety measure a thick wire pig tail could be taken from the rect. mounting bolt and then to a good earth just incase the bracket breaks and you dont notice immediately. (Just a thought.) ATB J
  16. Try getting the exhausts back up to temp then scrapping the worse off with, say, a plastic business card or something that wont scratch the chrome. Once the worst is off perhaps some cellulose thinners would remove the remaining. Good luck. ATB J

Could be a market for those in this country as they are a scare as hens teeth. ATB J

The firearms legislation in this country is already one of the strictest in the world. Recent further rulings have now made it illegal for the trade to sell air rifles/pistols and certain accessories by mail order and must be done face to face at a Registered Firearms Dealer (R.F.D.) causing many businesses to close. Its not a case of further laws but enforcing the present, very adequate laws by giving stricter punishments for the small minority that break them. ATB J

UP.YOURS - Its two minutes to remove the petrol tank and make sure the cables are routed correctly. It wouldn't hurt to give them a bit of oil and check the carb slide balance. Paul is correct when he says 'spray WD40' around the intake manifold to see if there is any difference in tickover. Sounds like a perished manifold/r.v to me. WD is safer than petrol. ATB J

Welcome aboard. Sensible choice with starting (again) with a 125 until you get back into the system and the modern traffic. Building up some insurance NCB will help too as you loose this after a few years of not insuring a bike. Why? ATB J

Replacement bushes can be fitted to your swing arm. Another case of your battery needs a new bike syndrome. To help the new bushes last longer it would help if you lost 50lbs of ugly fat. Cut your nose off. ATB J

If the Jawa 350 are so good UP.YOURS why are you riding, in your words, a 'Jap crap' Yamaha 350? Like swimming in the local Egyptian river - I think your in denile. ATB J

Nice to see a few other members share my other main hobby - airguns. Both using and collecting. I think you may struggle OLDGITONABIKE with finding mounts for, what looks like, a Mk2 BSA Airsporter (GE or GF serial prefix)as the twin scope grooves are very wide apart and mounts for such are very rare. John Knibbs has them but at a price. Shoot safe. ATB J
