are you sure there not water pipes which go on the head? do you have a pic?

i have a tzr 4dl. with the 3mb00 cylinder head the outlets are more then likely for water pipes from the head mate. hope this helps

first check if it turns the engine without the spark plug because if it does when there is no spark plug in and doesn't when its in then the keyway is probably broke. i also have a 4dl.then when its running try putting the choke on and wait for it to warm up abit then ride it till its at a decent temp to get into the powervalve in all gears to burn away any oily deposits. hope this helps mate

hi, he means Yamaha power valve system control box, the yvps is a little cylinder shaped valve in the head which opens up at about 5,000+ rpm which basically opens up the exhaust port
