  1. Yamaha, Suzuki and Honda still make 2 stroke bikes.
  2. They still make plenty of two stroke mx and enduro bikes. What I think your mate meant was not many road registered two strokes are sold. Look at youtube videos of KTM 300exc now they are a fun fun bike. And still road legal!
  3. Spoke holes have to.be drilled at the right.angle.so that the spokes arent fractionally.bent at the rim end. Imagine a really big.hub with small spokes, and a small hub with long spokes.

Well it will either be two stroke oil or gearbox oil, because petrol evaporates. Check the screw near the clutch push rod is tight. (between the magneto and clutch arm) Chances are its the sprocket output shaft seal though.

3m sticky pad gopro mount that comes in the motorsport kit is the best. Stick it on the side of your lid.
  12. I'd stick that Go-Pro on yer head. Much better.

My Dad has tinnitus, spent most of his youth riding bikes across Europe, and still rides his 400/four with period straight thru goldstar pipe that can be heard 2 miles away! So yes I wear f***ing ear plugs.
  14. Its a lot of bother becuase you need the forks, yokes and wheel off the donor bike to m ake it work, and most dont handle right/damage the tank on full lock. the front drums are surprisingly good on the dt if kept in good nick and set up right. im not the slowest of riders and I dont struggle.

  18. New petrol.is shit. And engine rebuilds are only fun the first or second time if youre really keen.
  19. Yep thats a possibility too... Mines running heaps better since I tightened the collar. Did over 300 miles this weekend.
  20. Haha Paul, was that aimed at me?
  21. Tools, etc all adds up!
  22. nice one foams. As far as running a business goes I know you should keep receipts for EVERYTHING! So you can claim as much back against profit. Therefore no tax. It's not uncommon for people who earn 45k a year self employed to pay tax on about 8k of it. I mean clothes, fuel, vehicle costs, vehicle depreciation, consumables, parts you use to fix bikes up, food if you travel a way away to pick stuff up,
  23. Exhaust on tight to the head? Collar to silencer tight? Baffle in? Clean baffle? Twisted crank? Short reach plugs? Sorry mate. I.had the same. Loose exhaust meant it was just fouling the plugs.
  24. Aahh good idea Paul. However the gauge itself is now gubbed! Basically I turned the motor over with a too long proddy bit and now it's.propr done in. Im not a hapless teenager. Honest.
